Japanese Bilingual Human Resources Generalist

We're partnering with an manufacturing company seeking a Japanese bilingual HR Generalist this role supports cross-border HR operations between the US and Japan.Japanese Bilingual HR SpecialistLocation: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Salary: $80-100KKey Responsibilities:Act as the main HR connection between US and Japan teams.Translate and prepare HR communications, policies, and training materials in both languages with cultural accuracy.Support full-cycle HR functions including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.Lead and execute HR projects, analyze survey/HRIS data, and create executive-level reports and presentations.Handle sensitive employee data with strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.Coordinate personnel rotations, transfers, and expatriate support.Assist with engagement programs such as surveys, recognition initiatives, wellness activities, and events.Qualifications:Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience as a liaison between US and Japan business operationsStrong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and issue resolution.Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, HRIS systems (Workday/SuccessFactors or similar), and presentation tools.
