Our commitment to excellence and innovation ensures that we deliver durable, reliable, and specialized products to meet the needs of our customers.Summary: The Materials Manager will manage overall purchasing and sourcing activities for the Piedmont plant, and assist in inventory management duties as assigned, with support and direction from Headquarters in Germany via Global Purchasing Director. This is an onsite position.Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Generate weekly yarn purchasing, inventory, and consumption reportsWork alongside weaving personnel to implement spare parts inventory processesGenerate and issue purchase orders as directed and approved by managementAssist in receiving/invoicing reconciliation as neededAssist in stock taking/inventory processes for yarn, weaving products, and other areasOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications: 2 year degree in Business Administration or Management, or Supply Chain Management, either completed or in process; or equivalent professional experienceModerate to advanced MS Office skills, especially ExcelProfessional demeanor: willing to work directly with employees, management, and outside vendorsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a very seldom basisAbility to work in various working environments, from a climate controlled office to unconditioned shop floor on occasion such as helping with inventory tasksAvailability to travel for purchasing activities, usually no more than 10%BenefitsMedical (Company Paid) Dental (Company Paid) Vision (Company Paid) Life (Company Paid) STD LTD Accident Coverage Critical Care Coverage 401K with 25% match (No Cap) Paid Vacation 10 Paid Holidays
