Providing critical respiratory care, this role involves administering medications, performing diagnostic testing, and responding promptly to emergency situations to support cardio-pulmonary health. This contract position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Schedule/Hours: Three 12-hour shifts weekly, 36-hour guarantee, on a 4-week repeating schedule Every Monday and Tuesday: 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour day shifts) Two Wednesdays per month: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am (12-hour night shifts) One weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday): 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour day) Alternative option: Monday and Tuesday 5:30 am - 6:00 pm; every Wednesday 5:30 pm - 6:00 am Key Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care services including protocol evaluations to assess and treat patients Administer medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers accurately Rapidly respond to all rapid responses, arrest, or STAT situations while maintaining artificial airways and performing CPR Set up and maintain oxygen delivery systems according to established protocols Qualifications/Desired Experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Thorough knowledge of respiratory care techniques and cardio-pulmonary diagnostics Ability to perform under pressure in emergency situations with expertise in life support Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with physicians and healthcare team Location Overview: The role is based in Pickford, Michigan, a close-knit community surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor recreational activities.
