Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health to join our team in Phoenix, AZ 85014. This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.Job Responsibilities:Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical TherapistAdminister non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patientsAccurately document client status with daily, weekly, or monthly records and submit clinical paperwork on timeAttend educational meetings and contribute to department in-servicesNotify physical therapist or management of any equipment failures, supply shortages, staff or client changesSchedule clients and perform varied office tasksApply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activitiesAccept clinical assignments consistent with education and competencePromote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education and coachingPerform other related duties as assigned or requestedRequired Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degreeCurrent AZ state license to practice as a Physical Therapy AssistantCurrent BLS certificationValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insuranceMinimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy AssistantHCHB, Oasis, and HH experience requiredWest Valley coverageAbility to work independently and cooperatively as part of a teamAdditional Information:Location:Phoenix, AZ 85014Schedule: 40 hours/weekContract Length: 13 weeksProductivity Units: 30 unitsGross weekly: $2,022 (Must live 50 miles away)W2 hourly (Taxable): $18Stipend Weekly (Non - Taxable): $1302 = ($700 + $602)Local Pay: $35 - $40/hour Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Interested?
