General SummaryThe Maintenance Manager is a hands-on operational leader responsible for supporting equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining efficient maintenance operations at Mama Lola's.This position works closely with Production, Operations, QA, and Management to support facility performance, improve equipment uptime, and assist in the company's continued growth. The Maintenance Manager oversees preventive maintenance activities, supports equipment troubleshooting and repair efforts, manages maintenance personnel, and helps ensure maintenance systems and documentation remain organized and effective.This role requires strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, leadership ability, organizational discipline, and a proactive approach to maintenance and operational support within a food manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFacility & Equipment ReliabilitySupport the overall health and functionality of the facility through routine inspections, repair coordination, and preventative maintenance activities.Assist in maintaining and improving preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility systems.Monitor PM completion and support efforts to minimize unplanned downtime.Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory tracking within MaintainX or other CMMS platforms.Leadership & Team Management· Lead and support maintenance technicians in daily maintenance activities and repair assignments.· Assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to AM and PM technicians using MaintainX.· Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.· Review technician timecards and assist with overtime tracking and scheduling.Compliance, Safety & Food Manufacturing Standards· Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA, HACCP, SQF, and company safety standards.· Support lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and other required safety procedures.· Assist Operations and QA during audits by maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.· Help maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards in support of food safety requirements.Projects & Operational SupportAssist with installation and startup of new equipment and production lines.Support training efforts for maintenance and production employees on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.Partner with management to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and operational efficiencies.Assist with troubleshooting recurring mechanical and operational issues.Vendor & Facility Coordination Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair work as directed.Inspect completed contractor work for quality and compliance.Assist with facility-related interactions involving landlords, contractors, and regulatory inspections.Track maintenance-related expenses and assist with reporting as requested.Required Skills & Competencies· Strong mechanical troubleshooting & maintenance experience within manufacturing environment· Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and CMMS platforms such as MaintainX· Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems· Strong organizational and communication skills· Leadership ability with a team-oriented mindset· Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in fast-paced production environments· Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredEducation & Experience QualificationsAssociate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience preferredMinimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturingPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredDemonstrated experience in:Preventive maintenance programsFood Manufacturing equipmentBuilding and facility maintenance OSHA and workplace safety standards HACCP and food safety practices Working knowledge of:Electrical and mechanical systemsConveyors, fryers, ovens and production equipment LOTO and confined spaces procedures CMMS systems and maintenance tracking softwareStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all departments and with outside vendors. Salary $75,000 - $85,000 paid on a bi-weekly basis Full Time position
