The role is ideal for someone with a strong retail real estate background who combines operational expertise with a highly polished, relationship-driven personality.The team is seeking an individual who understands how shopping centers operate from both a strategic and hands-on perspective - someone who can manage relationships, oversee portfolio performance, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the platform.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and help drive business development initiatives across the platformBuild and maintain relationships with owners, brokers, tenants, and operating partnersAssist in sourcing and evaluating new retail investment and development opportunitiesWork closely with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and portfolio expansionPartner with regional asset management and property management teams across the existing portfolioAnalyze property and portfolio performance metrics, leasing activity, tenant health, and operational trendsCollaborate with leasing teams to understand tenant strategy, occupancy trends, and shopping center performanceParticipate in transaction execution, negotiations, and ongoing asset strategy discussionsHelp elevate and expand the firm's business development capabilities across Western U.S. marketsIdeal Background4-10+ years of experience within retail real estate, asset management, property management, leasing, investments, or business developmentStrong understanding of shopping center operations and retail asset performance metricsPrior experience working with retail portfolios, acquisitions, or development projects preferredExposure to institutional real estate platforms, investment managers, REITs, or private equity real estate firms is highly attractiveCandidates from owner/operators, asset managers, or institutional platforms are encouraged to applyHighly professional, engaging, and relationship-oriented communication styleStrong commercial instincts with the ability to build credibility internally and externallyEntrepreneurial mindset with strong business development capabilities and presenceAdditional InformationThis position is based in Phoenix, ArizonaRelocation candidates are welcome to apply, particularly those currently located across Western U.S. markets
