Bilingual Mandarin Logistics Team Lead

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Logistics Team Lead to support and oversee daily warehouse and material operations in a fast-paced construction environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, and ensuring materials and operations run smoothly and efficiently.What You'll DoLead daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, put-away, issuing, returns, transfers, cycle counts, and shippingSupport and guide warehouse staff, helping prioritize tasks and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on timeMaintain inventory accuracy, stock accountability, and material traceability through system tracking and physical countsEnsure all inventory transactions are properly recorded in ERP or warehouse systemsCoordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and field teams on deliveries, shortages, and urgent material needsRespond quickly to shifting project schedules and operational prioritiesOversee handling and organization of construction materials (e.g., ductwork, fittings, steel, hardware)Help optimize warehouse layout, storage practices, and workflow efficiencySupport process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Maintain warehouse organization (6S), safety compliance, and equipment readinessProvide updates to management on inventory status and operational issuesSupport overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays based on project demandsWhat We're Looking For2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience (some leadership or team lead experience preferred)Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)Experience in construction or related environments is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation)Strong communication skills and a team-first, hands-on attitudeAbility to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments (including outdoor conditions)Adaptability and sound decision-making in dynamic project settingsNice to HaveBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fieldOSHA 30 certificationForklift certificationTelehandler certification (Class 7)Experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse or construction yard environments
