Construction Scheduler - Phoenix, AZ$120,000 to $180,000 dependant on experienceHybrid or Site Based Fortiva are partnering with a leading Owner's Representative and construction consultancy to appoint a Construction Scheduler to support a growing pipeline of projects across Arizona.This role will play a key part in driving project success through effective planning, scheduling, and analysis, working closely with project teams to ensure timelines are realistic, risks are managed, and delivery remains on track.Position OverviewThe Construction Scheduler will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project schedules across the full lifecycle of construction projects. This includes building baseline schedules, tracking progress, analyzing delays, and providing strategic insight to support decision-making.You will work across multiple projects, providing critical input into planning, sequencing, and recovery strategies, while ensuring all scheduling outputs align with client expectations and contractual requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including baseline and live updatesBuild resource-loaded and cost-linked schedules to support accurate project trackingMonitor progress and provide regular updates, identifying risks and potential delaysConduct schedule impact analysis related to change orders and project variationsPerform time impact analyses (TIA) to support delay claims and entitlement reviewsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders on scheduling mattersEvaluate alternative sequencing and construction approaches through scenario planningSupport project teams in identifying mitigation strategies and recovery plansPrepare monthly schedule reports and narratives, outlining progress and key issuesDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to track performance and critical milestonesMaintain quality control and consistency across all scheduling deliverablesCandidate ProfileWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong construction knowledge and the ability to operate across complex project environments.Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in construction scheduling or project controlsStrong proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platformsSolid understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and project lifecyclesExperience supporting delay analysis, claims, or change management processesStrong communication skills, with the ability to present schedule data clearlyCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teamsWhy This RoleOpportunity to work on complex, high-value construction projectsJoin a collaborative, client-focused consultancy environmentPlay a key role in project planning and delivery strategyStrong potential for professional growth and developmentIf you're a Construction Scheduler looking to take ownership of impactful projects and work in a client-facing environment, reach out to learn more.
