Development Executive AssistantLocation: Phoenix, AZOverviewA nationally recognized nonprofit organization focused on leadership development and civic engagement is seeking a Development Executive Assistant to support a senior fundraising leader within its development team.This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, donor engagement initiatives, research, and administrative coordination. The position plays a key role in helping optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of senior leadership within the fundraising organization.The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive SupportManage the Senior Development Leader's calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics. Coordinate internal and external meetings, calls, and event participation. Assist with expense tracking, reporting, and administrative documentation. Ensure schedules and commitments are organized and executed efficiently. Donor Engagement & ResearchSupport donor relationship management and fundraising initiatives. Conduct research to identify prospective high-net-worth donors and strategic funding opportunities. Prepare briefing materials and donor communication documents for meetings and outreach. Assist with preparation of proposals, donor materials, and engagement collateral. Development OperationsMaintain accurate donor records and account information within the CRM platform. Coordinate with internal teams to produce donor reports, communications, and event materials. Assist with execution of fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives. Support donor communications including outreach emails and follow-up coordination. Event & Travel SupportTravel to fundraising events and organizational programs as needed. Assist with preparation and coordination of donor events and meetings. Support logistics and materials preparation for events and donor engagements. Minimum QualificationsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail. Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems. Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or similar productivity tools. Ability to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Virtuous, or similar). Background supporting donor relations, fundraising operations, or development teamsPrior experience supporting senior leadership or executive-level professionalsExperience with research, donor prospecting, or fundraising coordination
