Role: Payment Posting Specialist (Healthcare)Location: Phoenix, 85016Setting: 100% on siteSchedule: Flexible start time after training (between 7a - 9a)Pay: $20 - $27We're seeking a reliable, detail oriented Payment Posting Specialist with a strong healthcare payment posting or surgical background to join our growing team of 9.What You'll DoPost payments and adjustments daily from ERAs, EOBs, paper checks, patient payments, portals, and collection agenciesReconcile payments accurately in line with department processesResearch and resolve payment discrepancies (approx. 20% of the role)Minimal outbound insurance follow up (about 2%)Maintain productivity and accuracy standardsUpdate demographics and support charge posting as neededWhat We're Looking For5+ years of medical billing experienceHands on experience with payment posting, EOBs, and remittances (does not need to be recent)Strong knowledge of CMS and insurance guidelinesOphthalmology experience a plusDetail oriented, flexible, and dependableComfortable in a fast paced, high volume environmentCommitted to HIPAA compliance and professionalism
