Robert Half is partnering with our client in this search, a Fortune 500 leader in the telecommunications and media industry, to hire a Content Strategist to support enterprise digital experiences.Location: Philadelphia, PA (onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote)Duration: 7-month contractHours: 40 hours/weekPay Rate: $40-43/hour (W2)Position Overview:The Content Strategist will drive content governance, editorial quality, and scalable operations across a complex digital ecosystem. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong systems thinking and experience working within enterprise design systems. Blending strategy and execution, the position ensures content aligns with global standards, supports Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and delivers consistent, high-quality user experiences within a collaborative Experience Design and Digital Marketing organization.AEO & Design System SupportAudit and optimize taxonomy, metadata, and structured content to improve discoverability and support AEO and personalization strategiesIdentify content gaps and recommend enhancements to improve visibility in AI-generated summaries and search experiencesTag and structure content in alignment with enterprise taxonomy and global content strategyDocument and maintain content specifications and usage guidelines within the design systemManage and update content templates, ensuring consistency across all digital properties and vendor deliverablesPartner cross-functionally to evolve editorial standards and maintain a cohesive style guideSupport sitewide governance initiatives to drive consistency, scalability, and complianceOwn end-to-end QA for content updates, including thought leadership, merchandising, and page-level changesEditing & Quality AssuranceConduct sitewide audits to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement content updates within BAU workflowsEnsure accuracy and alignment of copy across design files and production environmentsProofread and edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand standardsProactively improve editorial quality and maintain long-term content integrityMerchandising & Content SupportSupport ongoing content updates tied to merchandising, campaigns, and enterprise learning initiativesMaintain and update thought leadership and event-related content across the siteManage time-sensitive and high-priority content requestsContribute to documentation and processes that support scalable content operationsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of experience in content strategy, content operations, or editorial roles within digital products or enterprise websitesStrong understanding of structured content, taxonomy, metadata, and tagging strategiesExperience with AEO, personalization, and scalable content frameworksExceptional editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detailExperience working within design systems and component-based content modelsProven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, engineering, and productPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting large-scale B2B or enterprise digital platformsFamiliarity with Figma, CMS platforms, and QA workflowsExperience maintaining editorial style guides and governance modelsAbility to balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategic improvementsThe salary range for this position is $40-43/hour.
