This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, empathy, and the ability to gather key information from individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances following serious injuries.The Intake Specialist will work closely with attorneys and the intake team to evaluate potential cases and ensure prospective clients receive a professional and compassionate initial experience with the firm.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for prospective clients via phone, email, and other communication channelsConduct detailed intake interviews with potential clients regarding personal injury and medical malpractice mattersGather, document, and organize case information accurately within the firm's case management systemsCommunicate with attorneys and the intake team regarding potential case viabilityMaintain professionalism and empathy when speaking with individuals experiencing serious injuries or difficult circumstancesManage multiple inbound inquiries while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracyTrack intake status and ensure timely follow-up with prospective clientsAssist with administrative tasks and documentation related to new mattersCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to applyStrong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent phone etiquetteDemonstrated empathy and professionalism when speaking with individuals in sensitive situationsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamExperience in legal intake, personal injury, medical malpractice, or healthcare environments is a plus but not requiredTeam & Work EnvironmentThe Intake Specialist will join a collaborative team of approximately 12 intake professionals led by a dedicated Intake Manager and will work closely with one of the Firm's partners.
