Continuous Improvement Shift Coordinator - Tuffy's Pet FoodsHours: 5:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Thursday & 5am - 11pm FridayCompensation: All in hourly compensation: $24.54/hr Base Pay: $23.32/hr Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2024 which equated to over $6.00/hr for employees) Our Coolest Benefit - Profit Sharing! What We Are Looking For We're now hiring a Continuous Improvement Shift Coordinator for Tuffy's Pet Foods, based in Perham, MN. This role is responsible for supporting continuous improvement activities along with their sustainment actions, throughout Tuffy's Pet Food. They will utilize their knowledge, skills, and abilities to support the company safety, quality, and productivity goals Essential Duties Work with department leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement involvement. Collaborate with department leaders across all work centers to translate and author their safety, food safety and job performance expectations into detailed Job Descriptions, Work Instructions, and Training Aids. Work with all departments to create and/or update training material based on the current and revised processes. Elicit requirements and document processes using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, and workflow analysis. Assist plant teams with developing measures, quantifying results, determining actions, and tracking progress. Influence behaviors and problem-solving culture by attending and supporting tier meetings. Accomplish other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Three or more years of work experience in a manufacturing environment. General mechanical knowledge. Great verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of directors, managers, and subject matter experts. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Possess a positive attitude for goal setting, personnel motivation, and creating harmony in work area. Willing to work hours as needed to accomplish goals.
