Then this role could be the right fit for you. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related activities across the organization. Manage and continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, work instructions, and documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including SFI/FSC certifications and ISO 9001 guidelines. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to support quality objectives. Translate customer specifications into clear manufacturing and production requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality and compliance standards. Lead internal quality audits and coordinate all third-party QMS and facility audits. Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues, track findings, and implement effective corrective actions. Establish and monitor inspection, testing, and process control measures for raw materials and in-process production activities. Monitor quality performance metrics, prepare monthly reports, and communicate results to relevant teams. Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and the proper use of the Quality Management System. Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including programs such as 5S to enhance operational efficiency and workplace organization. Conduct and document in-process inspections and testing for production orders. Perform and record incoming inspection and testing of raw materials. Communicate with vendors regarding material issues and issue non-conformance reports when required. Track and report quality performance indicators such as customer complaints and internal or supplier-related issues. Ensure employees consistently follow safety procedures, quality standards, GMP requirements, and company policies. Participate in safety initiatives and support monthly safety team activities. Qualifications: Proven experience in Quality Management or supervisory role within a printing, packaging, or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality control processes. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; experience with FSC or SFI certification requirements is highly preferred. Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present information and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership ability with a collaborative approach to achieving team and organizational goals. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow assignments through to completion. Reliable attendance and the ability to maintain consistent, punctual work habits.
