Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) Location: Pasadena, MDJob Type: Full-TimeShift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (40 hours/week)Setting: Inpatient FacilityJob Summary:Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safe medical withdrawal management and continuity of care in an inpatient setting.Roles and Responsibilities:Collaborate with the clinical team to manage patient care, including withdrawal managementAdminister and monitor medications, including use of EMAR systemPerform history & physical exams and comprehensive patient evaluationsOrder and interpret labs; develop appropriate treatment plansAssess admissions and determine medical appropriatenessPrescribe medications, including those for withdrawal managementAddress patient medical concerns in a timely mannerEnsure accurate documentation and maintain HIPAA complianceCoordinate external referrals when neededParticipate in on-call coverage as requiredQualifications, Licensure, Experience:Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or AGNP)DEA and CDS licenses requiredCurrent state licensureMinimum 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experiencePreferred experience in behavioral health or substance use treatmentFamiliarity with Kipu EMR/EMAR is a plusBenefits:Health insuranceDental insurancePaid time off
