Responsibilities: As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, and repair home comfort systems across Maryland. This role is hands-on and customer-facing — you’ll work inside homes (including attics and crawl spaces) to troubleshoot issues, complete quality repairs, and restore systems safely and professionally. You’ll be trusted to work independently, represent the company well, and deliver the kind of workmanship customers remember.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with speed, accuracy, and professionalismPerform service and repairs on:Split systemsHeat pumpsGas furnacesBoilers (gas/oil where applicable)Air handlersThermostats / zoning controlsIndoor air quality components (humidifiers, UV lights, filtration, etc.)Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, ignition, venting, and control issuesConfirm system performance after repair (temps, pressures, amps, static pressure when needed)Communicate clearly with homeowners: problem, solution, pricing, and expectationsDocument diagnostics, recommended repairs, and completed work in the system (notes, photos, invoices)Work safely in residential environments including tight spaces, ladders, attics, crawl spaces as neededMaintain a clean and professional service vehicle, tools, and appearanceFollow all company safety procedures, EPA guidelines, and Maryland licensing requirements Qualifications: What You NeedMaryland Journeyman HVAC License requiredEPA Certification RequiredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAble to pass background and drug screeningAbility to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy equipment Note: This posting outlines potential pay ranges and opportunities, which are not guaranteed and do not represent a formal offer.
