This position is located at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida, and will support the F-35 Lightning II Program. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified of the F-35 Pilot Training Center. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, pilots and visitors using the facility; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random searches. Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices including the following: controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (act as COMSEC / SVRO Custodian as needed). Provide assistance with the following: file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security investigations; assist in providing training and scheduling of Level 1 Security Generalists in specified locations; and escort un-cleared personnel within classified areas. The Security Generalists will be hired to support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as the need arises. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. Knowledge of Joint Strike Fighter security requirements. Experience working in a military environment. Works well independently and in group settings. Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position requires a Secret security clearance with an investigation or CV date within 5 years. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program Access. Experience working in classified areas and with classified materials. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 - $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
