Job Description:
Operations Assistant Assists supervisor and/or assistant supervisor in the implementation of daily objectives and effectively communicating expectations to associates to achieve departmental goals. Train and develop hourly staff in assigned area Operate as a back-up to assist supervisor to ensure orderly operation of DC Co-ordinate work assignments as directed Assist in maintaining the highest performance, housekeeping and safety standards Develop and recommend operational improvements where appropriate and assist with implementation upon approval Work within WMS/PKMS IT systems to monitor workflow and generate reports Assist in directing hourly associates, monitoring work methods and recommend retraining and/or disciplinary action The ability to multi-task and work in a constant state of alertness Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor for the effective operation of the facility 1-3yrs distribution or relevant supervisory experience w/2yr degree Or 5yrs demonstrated supervisor/leadership experience, preferably in a distribution environment w/high school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written/verbal communication skills A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to assist fellow associates At PVH, we offer competitive, cost-effective, and comprehensive benefit packages.
