The full salary range for this position is as follows: Maintenance Worker I - $25.95 to $33.10 / Maintenance Worker II - $28.60 to $36.50. Expected hiring range is as follows: Maintenance Worker I - $25.95 to $28.60 / Maintenance Worker II - $28.60 to $31.53. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES Essential and other important responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee and inspect the work of contract maintenance workers related to area of assignment; inform and update appropriate staff or contractors as needed; document daily activities. Inspect areas of assignment for safety, appearance, and vandalism problems; ensure contract staff complete work properly. Perform installation, maintenance, design, repair, and construction duties as related to maintenance of area of assignment. Perform plumbing, concrete, carpentry and basic electrical repairs and maintenance related to maintenance of area of assignment.
