Manufacturing Analyst Location: Palmdale, California Type: Contract Job #87292 An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Analyst who will support Palmdale, CA's F-35 Assembly Tooling organization. Location: Palmdale, CA 93550 (Onsite) Position: Manufacturing Analyst Pay Rate: $31.67/hr. - $34.22/hr. on W2 (DOE) Duration: 6 months or longer Schedule: 9×80 A Shift: 1st Shift Ability to work any shift Overview: A Manufacturing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Palmdale, CA, where technology and teamwork come together. The Associate Manufacturing Analyst/ Manufacturing Analyst job duties involve supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in various cross-functional areas, including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Will support Palmdale, CA's F-35 Assembly Tooling organization. Working collaboratively with diverse disciplines in a team-based manufacturing environment, the candidate will execute activities across various functional areas. Responsibilities include Tracking daily costs, Administering EVM (earned value management) activities, Maintaining visibility charts, and Providing weekly and monthly status reports. The role entails closing and documenting tool orders for PMC assembly tooling, overseeing the validation of incoming materials against the bill of material, and developing internal tooling packages. Additionally, the candidate will liaise with support organizations to negotiate schedules with Production, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering. Duties encompass ordering and recording chemical usage, ensuring proper inventory within the client's Chemical Tracking system, and managing tool control and accountability activities, including daily inventory, audits, property, and asset management. May also handle other manufacturing and assembly tooling-related duties as required. Will be responsible for technical administrative tasks including but not limited to certification compliance, staff meetings, team engagement support, onboarding, concur travel support, and safety focal tasks. Core Competencies • Manufacturing Methods - Knowledge of manufacturing, methods, and fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools, or assemblies. Verifiable performance record that includes the various aspects of assembly line operation. • Project Management - Successful project management and leadership experience. Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: US Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Ability to work any shift. Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 1 year of experience OR 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator. Microsoft office (Excel), highly organized, quick learner, SAP/ERP.
