Adjunct Faculty Credit - Radiologic Technology - MRI

Job Description: The Radiologic Technology Program is seeking adjunct faculty to join the Radiologic Technology Department as an MRI instructor. Essential Duties: * Teach online MRI procedures course as needed in the Fall semester. * Lead/participate in weekly online (synchronous and asynchronous) discussions with students * Possess a commitment to student engagement, student success, and instructional excellence. * Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and utilize a variety of instructional delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources. * Maintain expertise and certifications appropriate to teaching responsibilities. * Grade and provide detailed feedback on all assignments within a timely manner. * Actively respond to student emails and requests within 24 hours. * Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information) * Verify student enrollment and submit grades Education Requirements: Education required: * Registered ARRT (R)(MR) * Licensed in the state of Illinois (IEMA) * Bachelor's degree. Experience Requirements: * At least 2 years of employment as an MRI Technologist * At least 1 year teaching MRI or related courses, with experience teaching virtually
