We offer end-to-end solutions—from design and installation to ongoing maintenance and emergency support—helping clients maximize building performance, energy efficiency, and equipment lifespan.Position SummaryThe Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical construction activities on job sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. This role serves as the primary liaison between field personnel, subcontractors, and project management, with a strong focus on planning, coordination, and execution of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day field operations on assigned projectsCoordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to support project needsInterpret project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure accurate executionEnsure all work complies with NEC and applicable local codesSupervise, mentor, and develop field personnelEnforce company safety policies and maintain OSHA compliance at all timesCollaborate with Project Managers and coordinate with other trades to maintain workflowMonitor productivity and track progress against project schedulesMaintain quality control standards and manage punch list completionPrepare and maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentationQualifications8-15+ years of electrical construction experience3–5+ years of supervisory/leadership experienceOSHA 30 certification preferredStrong knowledge of NEC codes and compliance requirementsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed.Standing and walking for extended periods on job sites.Performance Metrics:Safety performance and complianceLabor productivity and efficiencySchedule adherence and milestone achievementQuality control and rework reductionCrew leadership and performance developmentWork Environment:Primarily field-based with occasional office work.Travel is required for this role.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holiday pay.Opportunities for professional development and certification assistance.Equal Employment Opportunity:Upchurch Companies provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
