Job OverviewManage and update as required the food safety and quality plans and systems, as well as the data that is both received and generated from them (i.e. HACCP/PC/SSOP/GFSI/RedZone/Intelex) for the facility, as well as training team members as needed in these systems. These systems are critical to regulatory compliance, customer complaints, quality trends and food safety.ResponsibilitiesDuties and Essential Job Functions:Data Management: Manage all inbound and outbound FSQ data to our internal and external clients and regulatory bodies. This includes (but is not limited to) data involving: CoAs, product releases, microbiological data, and Redzone data. Support data management in the various FSQ electronic data management systems, e.g. Intelex, Redzone, network files. Interface with the local team to ensure that that all FSQ data is current and complete. Ensure that data meets requirements and execute corrective actions as needed.Program Development: Provide support for the development of QA programs and cident Support: Provide support for investigations and root cause, corrective action(s), and preventative action(s) analysis.Product Releases: Manage product holds/releases. Interface with plant leadership to ensure that that all FSQ hold data is current and complete. Assign duties to technicians as needed. Audit Support: Provide support for audit-related documentation and queries as needed.Training: Train associates as needed to support data management tasks. Other: Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and adhere to JSA guidelines. Follow daily set up and/or shutdown procedures. Maintain accurate records. Responsible for Food Safety and Quality Culture. Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidays. Ability to identify visual defects and make correction as needed and identify and distinguish between colors. Must be able to work in areas of varying temperatures. Relieve other associates as necessary. Maintain good housekeeping. Regular attendance Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or commensurate years of experience in Food Science or related degree5+ years of years of experience in manufacturing Deep understanding USDA-FSIS and FDA regulations. Excellent customer service skills Strong communication/training skills. Deep understanding of the GFSI standard HACCP and/or PCQI certified
