Electrical Engineer- Hardware Specialty

Zachary Piper Solutions is expanding its Engineering Center of Excellence and seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support large-scale aerospace and defense projects. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge mission systems and avionics hardware in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. This position is fully onsite in Owego, New York. Key Responsibilities Include: Design and develop electrical hardware for mission-critical systems Perform hardware trade studies , analyses, and integration Support agile development cycles -design and test in parallel Collaborate with systems, software, and integration teams Participate in technical reviews and document engineering artifacts Provide engineering support for production and factory follow-up Qualifications for this position include: U.S. Citizenship required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , or related field 7+ years of hardware engineering experience Familiarity with DO-254 and DO-178 standards Domain experience in aerospace or defense systems (rotary or fixed-wing): Avionics hardware design Mission computing systems Tactical communications and data links Navigation systems Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and digital backbone networks Sensor and survivability systems Preferred Tools & Skills: Cameo for systems modeling Embedded systems design Integration and test experience in lab environments Salary/ Benefits Information for this position: $150,000-$180,000 depending on years of experience Work on cutting-edge military aviation technology in a secure environment Enjoy a 4-day work week with long weekends Flexible onboarding: remote start, then onsite within 30 days Per diem option ($2,848/month tax-free) or relocation assistance (up to $7,000) Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits
