Responsibilities may include: entering data for account payables, receivables, purchase orders, invoices, employee reimbursements and payroll; processing payments; tracking financial records; responding to inquiries about financial information; and maintaining files and documents. Specifically as the Accounting Clerk, you will...Enter a variety of financial information into spreadsheets and/or databases and perform basic calculations. Process and verify payments, invoices, and similar transactions. Review data and forms for accuracy and completion. Provide information to public or refer them to applicable resource. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. QualificationsABOUT YOU:A successful candidate will have some or all of the following ... High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Knowledge of: Data entry techniques; Basic mathematical concepts; Recordkeeping principles; Computers and related software applications. Skill in: Performing basic mathematical calculations; Using a computer and applicable software applications; Organization and time management; Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
