NOC Operator

The NOC Operator is an exciting and critical role for NoTraffic. Our NOC Operators are our first line of defense and provide monitoring, support, and resolution of hardware and software issues in the field. This isn't your normal help desk where you are solving user issues, but a proactive monitoring team that is obsessed with ensuring that IoT devices located across the nation are up and running perfectly. This team operates around the clock, and works closely with the development team to resolve complicated challenges as it relates to traffic and hardware.Your day to day will include:Proactively review devices for health using key performance indicators like uptime, resource allocation, and other critical statsRespond to alerts and events occurring and provide initial remediation effortsMonitor live vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure optimal service state and identify potential traffic issuesWork on data projects to pull data from databases and understand what is going onProvide support to NoTraffic clients and partners to facilitate solutionsOwns our incident management and response, engaging with subject matter experts to drive resolutionCreate information-rich tickets to help narrow the scope of troubleshooting, support continual improvement, and enable reporting and analysis of event and incident trendsDrives creation of knowledgebase content, capturing lessons learned and tribal knowledgeSupports deployment, installation, and optimization projectsYou'd be a good fit if you have:Value partnership and customer service excellenceWork independently with a great sense of ownership and urgencyAre excited about working with cutting edge technology and solving problems no one has seen beforeAre an excellent communicatorAppreciate continual improvement and enjoy contributing to the team's growthYou have a flexible schedule and are open to working in a 24/7/365 environment, including holidays, weekends, and evening hoursYou have a fundamental understanding of a wide range of technologies such as; networking, IoT architecture, Linux computing, system monitoring, advanced virtualizationNice to have:Have tech industry certificationsHave previous experience with Traffic ManagementAre familiar with ticketing processes or systemsPandoLogic.
