Highway Engineer

About the Job The Oswego County Highway Department has an immediate opening for a Highway Engineer to perform professional engineering work involving responsibility for the design, maintenance and repair of County highways and roads. Qualifications: Possession of a master's degree in civil engineering and five (5) years of engineering experience which shall have included bridge and highway design and construction. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and six (6) years of experience as listed above. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: NYS license as a professional engineer. Salary Range: $80,491 to $106,437 per year plus competitive benefit package including: health, vision, dental and life insurance; NYS Retirement; and Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
