As an employee of Sterling Pharmacy, you can expect to be treated with care and respect.Looking for a Part-time Float Pharmacist working as needed.Ability to work and travel to Osage, IA and Austin, MN.We offer a 401(k) program with a company match and a Profit Sharing bonus program.To learn more about Astrup companies and our history, click this link: of an accredited school/college of pharmacy.Licensed as a Pharmacist in MN and IA.Must be willing to travel to various Sterling Pharmacy locationsPreferred:Detail oriented and very organizedAble to handle a high stress environmentTwo or more years of Pharmacy experience in retail/community settingJob Description: The Float Pharmacist will provide pharmacy dispensing and consultation services to Sterling Pharmacy patients and have direct communication with Pharmacy Managers, Store Managers, and/or District Managers.Core Competencies & Responsibilities:Travel to various Sterling Pharmacy locations to assist as a Float Pharmacies.Build healthier lives through caring relationships with co-workers and customersDisplays superior customer service, in both attitude and actionUnderstands the customers' needs are the #1 priority above anything elseAssist in training of other staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and customer service associatesReceive, process, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and in a timely mannerRespond to all patient inquiries in a timely fashionProvide the best possible service to patientsAdhere to policies and procedures related to pharmacy operationsAbide by all statutes, rules and regulations related to pharmacy practice, both State and FederalRepresent Sterling Pharmacy as a pharmacist to the general public and at professional eventsCollect appropriate information for billing of Medicaid and Medicare for DME and suppliesEnsure that patients are counseled on all new prescriptions and on any refills where there has been a change in therapy or patient conditionAddress and resolve patient/employee complaints in the absence of pharmacy managerBe prepared and willing to perform pharmacy technician and customer service associate duties, as necessary.Stay current with the latest information on drug therapy and side effectsComplete continuing education requirements of the Board of PharmacyMaintain CPR certificationComplete training/certification for administering immunizations and maintain competencyHelp the PIC encourage and support employees engaging with customer on all marketing material given by corporateParticipate in expectations with the Profit Incentive ProgramComplete other duties as assignedPerformance Requirements:Possess a thorough knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systemsComply to all Astrup Companies policy and proceduresCreate a culture of positivity and excitement within the workplaceDevelop constructive and cooperative working relationships with other team members.
