Situated in over 60 locations, each branch can provide management services, including transportation, risk management, and safety and insurance programs that are unparalleled in the industry.About the RoleThe Contract Coordinator's primary responsibility is to review, revise, negotiate, and finalize customer contracts as well as revisions suggested to Maxim Crane standard agreements. This is an on-site position, located at our branch in Orlando, Florida.The successful candidate must have a meticulous nature suited to reading for the majority of each workday, paying close attention to detail; possess good writing skills; and be an effective communicator/negotiator (through both the written and spoken word). The Contracts specialist will be exposed to Maxim Crane employees and suppliers/customers throughout the U.S. on a daily basis. The Maxim Crane Legal Department has a team mentality and the Contracts Specialist will have constant interaction with all members of the Department, including the Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel.ResponsibilitiesReview Customer Agreements, Contracts, Purchase Orders, and other legal documents to identify areas of legal and operational concernWork with Maxim sales reps as well as client contacts to negotiate and modify problematic clauses in above documentsManage all updates and modifications to Maxim Crane standard contract documentsWork within and update documents within Maxim Crane's contract databaseBare rental contracts:Check emails in a timely mannerCommunicate with sales team and dispatchKeep detailed and up to date digital and physical recordsRequires basic use of excelOrganized, self starterGenerate contracts using Unity legal softwareBasic fill in forms and word document formattingEffectively communication via email to request contract signature and insurance documentsReview insurance documents to ensure that they meet our list of requirementsEffectively communicate with customers via email or phone call to request revisions if necessarySubcontracts for legal review:Utilize Unity legal software to upload and send documents to legal team for reviewReview legal contracts for any specific billing instructions and relay those to the billing teamReview legal contracts for insurance requests and request COI for customerCommunicate legal changes to customers via emailRequest signatures from the Regional Vice PresidentQualificationsExperience as a Contract Review Specialist or equivalent role in the construction or related industryStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKeen attention to detail with an ability to spot errorsAbility to work with various Maxim Crane employees, including clerks, sales personnel, and executivesAbility to work with customers and outside counselExcellent time-management skillsAbility to work both independently and in a group environmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
