Job Title: Laboratory TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and consistency of our beverage products. This position involves performing routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality and regulatory specifications. Responsibilities + Conduct routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. + Ensure all products meet established quality and regulatory specifications. + Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to maintain continuous compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality control and chemistry. + Experience in laboratory settings, particularly in food manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to perform product analysis, work with blends, and conduct swabbing of products. + Willingness to learn pH and Brix testing. + Experience working with beverage concentrates and syrups. Work Environment The role is based inside a laboratory within a syrup and concentrate company. The position offers a flex shift, with initial training on the first shift for 5-6 weeks from 5:30 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a family-owned, growing company with long-term opportunities, including established contracts with cruise lines that purchase syrup products. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
