We take pride in maintaining safe, comfortable living environments for our residents and are looking for a dependable, skilled HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team.Position SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across multiple residential properties. This position plays a critical role in resident satisfaction and property upkeep.Responsibilities Install, service, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform diagnostic testing Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance requests Repair or replace thermostats, compressors, motors, belts, and electrical components Recharge refrigerant and check for leaks. Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA 608 standards and follow safety protocol per OSHA. Maintain accurate service records and work orders Follow safety procedures and local building codes Communicate professionally with tenants and property management staff Qualifications 4+ years HVAC service experience (residential preferred) EPA 608 Certification (Required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors year-round Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems Universal EPA Certification Gas furnace experience Preferred (Not Required) HVAC trade school certification Experience in apartment or property maintenance Benefits Competitive Salary Paid holidays, vacation and PTO Comprehensive benefits package with company contribution towards health insurance and ancillary benefits.
