Unlike a traditional fund-level role, this position serves as the engine behind the firm's corporate management.As the Accounting Manager, you will lead financial operations, internal risk mitigation, and sophisticated corporate reporting. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to a CPA-certified Controller known for exceptional mentorship. This position is ideal for a Big 4 professional or a PE accounting expert ready to lead a team and scale a corporate entity.Core Ownership AreasCorporate Management Operations: Oversee all accounting activities for the firm's corporate entities, including complex intercompany billings and firm-wide consolidations.Carried Interest & Partner Capital: Manage the mechanics of firm-wide compensation, specifically tracking and accounting for carried interest units, bonus accruals, and partner capital accounts.Cost Allocation Logic: Lead the "reimbursable" workflow, ensuring deal-related and corporate expenses are accurately and defensibly allocated across various funds and properties.Risk & Workflow Optimization: Design and maintain internal controls and risk assessments while optimizing automated ERP workflows to ensure scalability and fraud prevention.Business Intelligence: Leverage data visualization tools to automate reporting and provide leadership with insights into firm-wide KPIs and corporate profitability.Team Leadership: Manage and develop a professional accounting staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and intellectual curiosity.The Ideal ProfileExperience: 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience. Candidates moving directly from Public Accounting or those with a mix of public and Private Equity/Asset Management experience are highly encouraged to apply.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is highly preferred.Technical Savvy: A strong grasp of Management Company nuances, specifically carry schemes, partner distributions, and expense allocation logic.System Aptitude: Proficient in institutional-grade ERPs and expense management platforms.
