This position is stationed at the facility entrance and plays a key role in assisting arrivals, maintaining security presence, and securing the building at the end of the day. This role is best suited for someone dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently during evening hours. Pay$13.00/hour Weekly pay Schedule (40 hours/week)Monday-Thursday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch) Friday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM No overtime ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist students, staff, and authorized visitors upon arrival Confirm authorized access to the facility Maintain a visible security presence at the entrance Monitor security cameras and access-controlled doors Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols as assigned Check external doors during evening hours Secure the building at closing; officer will be the last person on site Work comfortably in dark or low-light environments Provide professional assistance and directions when needed Complete electronic daily reports using a smartphone or tablet Clearly document activity and observations Calmly assist with minor concerns if they arise QualificationsComfortable working evening hours and low-light conditions Able to work independently and remain alert Strong communication and observation skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable standing, walking, and performing routine patrols Able to use smartphones or tablets for basic reporting One position available.
