Travel Inpatient Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Opelika, Alabama

A growing 300-bed hospital in the Auburn/Opelika area is seeking 2-3 knowledgeable travel pharmacists to provide clinical pharmacy support in an inpatient setting. This role offers a 13+ week assignment with the possibility of time off or a solid schedule depending on your preference. Responsibilities: Verify and dispense inpatient medication orders, ensuring patient safety and accuracy Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy for hospitalized patients Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and order processing Assist with clinical interventions and medication reconciliation as needed Support sterile compounding activities if skills allow, though not a primary duty Qualifications: Current Alabama pharmacy license required Minimum 6 months to 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Familiarity with Cerner or similar EHR systems preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work a Monday through Friday day shift with varying start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, finishing around 4:30 pm Location: Opelika, Alabama, in the East Alabama Med Center area, near Auburn This travel pharmacist opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking flexible assignments and diverse clinical experience within a supportive hospital environment.
