Medical Billing Specialist

Job Description Process and submit medical claims for IEHP, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and other insurance plans Verify patient eligibility and benefits for government and managed care programs Ensure accurate billing and compliance with coding guidelines Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and submit corrections or appeals as needed Post insurance and patient payments accurately Communicate with insurance representatives to resolve claim issues Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Assist patients with billing questions related to government insurance programs Job Requirements Bilingual (English/Spanish) required 1-2 years of experience in medical billing Experience working with IEHP, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and other insurance plans Knowledge of medical billing procedures and claim submission Ability to follow up on denied or unpaid claims Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant) Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes Additional InformationPay rate: $24/Hour +Pay range: $24-$85 (We are required by law to list highest paid employee)Location: Pomona, CAJob type: VariesMeet Your RecruiterOntario Branch 909-984-3333 ontario@ Pirate Staffing does not discriminate against any applicant or personnel because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other status protected by law.
