Warehouse Yard Jockey

Ontario, CA Pay: $800-$900 / weekly Hiring for all shifts and schedules * This role will support operations at a major grocery retailer by ensuring that delivery vehicles are available, clean, and properly positioned to be loaded for deliveries. Responsibilities: * Move vans from Yard to Fulfillment center * Clean inside and outside of vans * Perform inspection of vehicles both before, and after, operation * Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs. * Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets * Ensure the yard is clean and organized * Assist Delivery Drivers when necessary Education and/or experience: * Valid Driver's License (CDL not required) * One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferred Knowledge, skills and abilities: * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) * Ability to work with limited supervision Physical requirements: * Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time * Ability to frequently get in and out of vehicles * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds * Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors and changing temperatures)
