Job Description:
Description • Coordinate, delegate, and communicate to maintenance staff in absence of the Plant Maintenance Manager. • Maintain and facilitate fire drills and associated records. • Ensure work orders submitted through SQSS and other methods are followed up on and completed in a timely manner. • Attend meetings as required. • Assist with sub-contractors and vendors. • Assist with scheduling projects including communication with affected staff. • Maintain physical plant records including blue prints. • Complete diverse heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical tasks within scope of ability. • Assure all components, property and appliances are in excellent working order. • Assist with follow-up on all weekly, monthly, and annual inspection, including additional contracts or services agreements. • Provides on-site supervision during construction projects. • Acts as the subject matter expert for any Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). • Provide leadership and instruction to maintenance staff as needed. • Correct all potentially unsafe situations and immediately report to the supervisor, Safety Officer or other "in charge" person any situation that cannot corrected immediately. Report to supervisor all unsafe situations corrected. • All essential functions of Maintenance Tech I and II. • Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities. • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements. • All other duties as required. RequirementsRequires knowledge and training equivalent 1-2 years of trade school studies Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Certified. Knowledge of building consruction, electrical systems construction and repair and plumbing systems construction and repair
