Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company's assets by preventing financial losses attributed to theft and fraud. This position not only focuses on security but also ensures compliance with safety and environmental programs across assigned stores. Your responsibilities will include: Utilizing various tools to mitigate loss, such as monitoring CCTV footage and analyzing exception reports. Conducting audits of the Electronic Article Surveillance system. Promoting a culture aimed at reducing shrinkage within the store. Preparing detailed and accurate reports of incidents, including apprehensions and recoveries. Preserving evidence and liaising with law enforcement as necessary. Testifying in criminal and civil court actions when required. Identifying and reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, respond effectively to asset protection concerns, and stay committed to achieving store-specific business objectives while supporting essential asset protection functions.
