A growing manufacturing company in Oldsmar is looking for a hands-on, mid-level HR Generalist to step in and join them in a contract-to-hire role, and help bring clarity, consistency, and momentum to their people operations.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building while doing, not overly regimented, not buried in red tape, but ready for someone who can connect the dots across recruiting, HR systems, and day-to-day employee support. You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact quickly, with a clear path to a permanent role as the business continues to scale.What You'll Be DoingThis role is a blend of core HR fundamentals + operational problem-solving:Recruiting & Talent SupportLead and support recruiting efforts across a variety of rolesPartner with hiring managers to streamline hiring processes and improve candidate experienceAssist with onboarding and early employee experienceCore HR OperationsServe as a go-to resource for employees and managers on HR-related questionsSupport employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and documentationHelp bring structure and consistency to HR processes and policiesHR Systems & AnalyticsMaintain and optimize HR systems and employee dataPull reports and provide insights to support decision-makingIdentify opportunities to improve workflows and data accuracyPayroll & Compliance SupportPartner with outsourced payroll providers (no need to run payroll directly)Ensure accurate data flow and support related administrative tasksProjects & Process ImprovementJump into HR projects as needed - this is a "see it, solve it" kind of environmentHelp implement scalable processes as the company growsWhat We're Looking For6+ years of HR experience in a generalist or similar roleStrong recruiting experience - this is a key part of the roleComfort working in a less structured, evolving environmentExperience with HR systems and reporting/analyticsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills with a practical, solutions-oriented mindsetSelf-starter who can operate independently and bring ideas to the tableNice to Have (Not Required)Manufacturing or industrial environment experienceExposure to outsourced payroll modelsThe VibeThis is a team that values practicality over process for process's sake.
