Job Duties: Gather eggs which includes: 1) Sorting eggs for: a) Size; b) Clean or dirty; c) Miss-shaped; d) Chex or cracks; 2) Clean eggs as needed; 3) Stacking flats Clean workrooms Empty trash Change dip pans daily - empty rectangular pan 1/2 full of liquid, replace liquid Walk floors and slats to find eggs & dead birds: 1) Walk houses 4-5 times daily; 2) Gather onto flats up to 13,600 eggs daily from conveyor belts Help maintain & clean ranch grounds Clean waters - lifting 40 lbs. to dump water, scrubbing up to 160 drinkers/day Clean ceiling lights Transfer to other farms Clean up ranch between flocks - routine heavy lifting, operate high-pressure washer. Additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds. Ability to walk 1.5 - 5 miles per day Able to step into & out of gathering pit numerous times each day (steep stairs). Able to bend over & pick up eggs from floor. Must be able to climb a 12-foot ladder. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
