He/she promotes pharmacists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and drug use control functions that would be beneficial in each health setting. He/she will serves as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice, increasing cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical services and improving the quality of patient care.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary. License/Certifications • New York State Pharmacy License. • New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate. • Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. • Immunization Certification.Working ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • May require admixture of chemotherapeutic agents. • May require prolonged periods of standing. • May require the occasional lifting of heavy boxes.
