Job OverviewPCS is seeking a part time energetic and detail-oriented Working Supervisor Floor Care to lead and oversee daily cleaning operations within the facilitrtes in the Ocean City and surrounding towns. You will supervise a team of janitorial staff, ensuring that all floor care and cleaning tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of the floor care team, including cleaning, buffing, carpet cleaning, and general janitorial dutiesEnsure all cleaning procedures comply with safety standards and environmental regulationsTrain new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocolsConduct regular inspections of work areas to guarantee quality standards are met or exceededManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as neededSchedule shifts and assign tasks to optimize team productivity and coverageAddress any issues or concerns promptly to maintain a smooth workflow and high moraleQualificationsProven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or environmental services with a focus on floor care and carpet cleaningStrong knowledge of cleaning techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, waxing floors, and carpet extraction methodsPrevious supervisory or team lead experience in janitorial or custodial environments preferredAbility to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers safely and effectivelyExcellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staffDetail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areasPhysical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks and stand for extended periodsJoin us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments This role is vital in ensuring our facilities reflect professionalism and care through exceptional floor care practices.
