While Rockland County has plenty to offer, both the mountains and the beach are within a few hours# drive.# DESCRIPTION Tracks authorizations for all case managed insurance cases.# Maintains file of authorization requests and communicates insurance company responses to appropriate clinician(s). Follows up with insurance companies in regard to pending authorizations.# Works with Patient Financial Services staff to ensure timely billing.# Enters data into Home Care billing system and generates related reports. QUALIFICATIONS Associates required, BA preferred. 2-3 years in healthcare setting required.#Proficient in Microsoft office, word, excel, etc. Data entry skills are essential.
