Human Resources Generalist – Norwalk, CT Our client, a well-established organization in Norwalk, CT, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys partnering with leadership and employees while contributing to a positive and compliant workplace environment. Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist will support key HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable managing multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy Support payroll coordination and personnel changes Assist with policy implementation and HR compliance initiatives Partner with management on employee relations matters Support recruitment efforts including posting roles, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Qualifications 3+ years of Human Resources experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus Why Apply?
