Procurement Manager (IT & Enterprise Services)OverviewWe are seeking a highly strategic Procurement Manager to support enterprise-wide technology purchasing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on financial negotiation, contract strategy, and vendor optimization. This role operates as a key advisor within the finance organization, partnering closely with executive leadership, IT stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive value across a complex portfolio of software, hardware, and services.This is not a transactional purchasing role"”this individual will serve as a true business partner, leading high-impact negotiations, shaping procurement strategy, and influencing enterprise-level decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end procurement activities across a diverse IT portfolio, including software, hardware, and professional servicesServe as a strategic advisor to senior leadership (CIO, Finance executives, etc.) on sourcing decisions, contract structures, and vendor strategyNegotiate complex enterprise agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, maintenance, and hardware-related contractsDrive cost savings and value creation through effective negotiation of pricing, terms, and service level agreementsDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and financial goalsEvaluate vendor proposals and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support decision-makingManage relationships with resellers, distributors, and direct vendors, ensuring optimal performance and complianceLead contract renewals and present strategic options to leadership, including risk/reward tradeoffsConduct vendor performance reviews and support resolution of contract, licensing, and service issuesPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement strategiesEnsure all procurement activities align with internal policies, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations (including FAR where applicable)Provide guidance to project teams on complex purchasing decisions and proactively address riskQualifications8-12+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or contract negotiation within a complex organizationStrong background negotiating enterprise-level software agreements and commercial contractsExperience with IT procurement, including SaaS, software licensing, hardware, and associated servicesDemonstrated ability to drive cost savings and improve contract outcomes through effective negotiation strategiesStrong financial acumen with the ability to analyze vendor proposals and build business casesExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership in a consultative capacityKnowledge of reseller and distributor ecosystems within technology procurement
