What we need The Senior EHS Manager (Compliance/Operations) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure the organization meets all environmental, health, and safety regulatory requirements. This role provides strategic leadership in compliance, operation safety management, partners closely with cross functional teams, and drives continuous improvement to reduce risk and support safe, efficient operations at scale. What we do The EHS Training Manager is part of the Manufacturing Operations organization; the EHS team is responsible for maintaining and improving the overall safety and performance of the organization. The EHS organization drives compliance with regulations, fosters a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and social consciousness, while building a strong stakeholder relationship to drive a culture of Safety at Symbotic. What you’ll do Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Subject Matter Expert for safety training requirements to ensure all employees, contractors, and managers are aware of their roles and responsibilities and act as a liaison leading execution for Manufacturing, Customer location & Construction site. Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update internal policies and procedures, and work with fellow operational safety team members to implement and improve safety culture at customer sites. Interpret safety standards, health codes, and regulations. Lead communication with EHS agencies including OSHA. Lead compliance audits, inspections, and corrective action planning. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems, safety programs, and compliance processes across customer operations sites. Manage & lead Environmental programs not limited to RCRA-waste management, DOT & Sustainability. Serve as a subject matter expert on EHS regulations and best practices. Promote awareness of EHS policies, initiatives, and best practices through effective communication and engagement campaigns. Work closely with Operations, Legal, HR, Facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of EHS programs. Implement behavioral based training programs. Lead in the development of corporate safety policies and the safety management system. What you’ll need Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Occupational Safety & Health (robotics, warehouse automation, automotive or manufacturing environment, preferred). With Masters, 3 years of experience. ASP or CSP preferred. Worker’s Compensation experience & OSHA 30-Hour Trainer Certification a plus. Demonstrated professional with passion for change and relentless focus on execution. Execution, attention to detail, initiative, conflict resolution, customer focus, collaboration, building ownership and commitment, establishing direction, drive for change, getting organizational support, tenacity, and skills in share point sites. Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem solving and human relations skills Must be highly organized; able to prioritize and meet target dates in a very fast-paced environment. Demonstrates strong leadership, is self‑motivated and self‑directed, possesses solid Microsoft Office skills, and excels in time management, meeting deadlines, and communicating effectively with others. Our Environment Open office environment.Knowledge of plant operations/ability to work on a manufacturing floor.Capable of standing and walking for up to 6 to 8 hours a day, if required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Up to 40% or more of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. The base range for this position in the posted location is $108,000.00 - $148,500.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
