In this critical role, you’ll help secure high-value projects by developing precise cost estimates, evaluating risks, and engaging closely with our operations and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documentation. Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing assessments. Sourcing and assessing subcontractor and supplier bids. Identify project risks and opportunities for value engineering. Collaborate with Project Managers and field leadership before the start of projects. Contribute to competitive bid strategies for our projects. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years estimating experience in heavy civil construction. Preferred experience with DOT, municipal, roadway, bridge, grading, or utility projects. Prior experience with mid-to-large civil contractors is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and cost structures. Proficient in estimating software and digital takeoff tools. Exceptional analytical and communication skills. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary: $110K - $150K, based on experience.
