Cash Processing Teller

Position Summary: Join our team as a Cash Processing Teller, where you will play a vital role in managing cash deposits and fulfilling change orders with precision and outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for those who prefer a structured environment focused on efficiency and effectiveness, as you will be working in a cash processing center rather than a branch office. Key Responsibilities: Maintain friendly and professional communication with co-workers and management, using various forms of communication. Safely operate cash processing machinery and ensure it remains in top condition. Accurately log and process client deposits into our teller system. Utilize handheld devices to scan and track deposits efficiently. Prepare currency and coin orders as required. Ensure the accurate counting and tracking of all vault assets. Safeguard all negotiable items and confidential records diligently. Proactively notify supervisors of any delays or issues in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized processing area. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Demonstrate proficiency in using a PC, bar code scanner, cash processing equipment, and other office devices. Lift and move items up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed. Maintain the ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Engage in various physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, and reaching, with occasional bending. Here are the qualifications we are looking for: High school diploma or equivalent is a must. 1+ years of experience in teller roles, vault operations, or similar cash handling positions preferred. Strong accuracy and math skills are essential. Experience using computers and cash processing equipment is required. Capable of lifting 30 pounds independently, with team lifts of up to 50 pounds occasionally. Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and teamwork in every situation.
