Job InfoJob Location: North Charleston, South CarolinaRoute Type: LocalType of Assignment: Temp to HireTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 6+ monthsHandling: Heavy TouchAdditional InformationNon-CDL Driver - $18.50 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL driver to support local operations based in North Charleston, SC.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  Non-CDL Details:  Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 5am - 7am Start time  Pay:  $18.50 Per hour + OT after 40 hours Route Type: Local deliveries, 8-20 stops per day Freight / Load Type: Produce Equipment: 22' - 26' Box Truck Handling: Heavy touch freight, pallet jack and dolly use Non-CDL Minimum Requirements:   License: Non-CDL Experience: 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience  Endorsements: DOT Med Card Equipment Experience: 6-12 months of local delivery in a 22' - 26' Box Truck Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)  Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements  Non-CDL Responsibilities:   Safely operate Non-CDL equipment on local routes  Transport produce in accordance with DOT and company safety standards  Perform required handling tasks including touch freight and the ability to continually lift 50 pounds on a repeated basis Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections  Maintain accurate logs and paperwork  Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations  Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]  Benefits:  Medical, dental, and vision insurance  Paid time off  401(k)  Referral program  Why Work With TransForce?  Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
