The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department including but not limited to; recordkeeping, creating and updating forms/spreadsheets, onboarding, recruiting and ensuring performance evaluations are done timely. Essential Job Functions: Coordinate and support onboarding activities, including new hire orientation, preparation of employment paperwork, and maintenance of personnel files. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and contractors; manage reception duties, security passes, and visitor protocols. Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and support accounts payable activities. Create and manage purchase orders and track company credit card transactions. Maintain training documentation and training matrices for new hires, transfers, and current employees. Order office supplies and assist with event planning, plant apparel ordering, and employee engagement activities. Maintain calendars, files, spreadsheets, and general office records. Assist with facility documentation and support safety and security protocols. Partner with plant leadership to ensure performance reviews are completed timely and accurately. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience or degree in HR or related field from an accredited college or university; preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or JDE is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor. Strong knowledge of HR policies, payroll, attendance, and basic employment practices. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, safety, and professionalism.
